New Boots...

Postby Mick » Sat May 17, 2014 11:01 am

Was down at watling tyres this morning for some new boots for the R1

Pirelli Rosso Corsa'a to be exact £260 fitted

They did make a bit of a balls up with the rear....i asked for a 55 and they put on a 50 !doh

Luckily i spotted it before he fitted the wheel back on the bike

He did take it off again, went and got another tyre, fitted that and got to balancing it when he realised it was a 180 and not 190 so had to take that one off as well

Did eventually get a 190/55 and fitted that !biggrin

So if anyone is near and needs a new rear then pop down there and you should get a good deal on a secondhand priced/brand new tyre :thumbsup

Funny you should say that tony......

I was getting a vibration whilst riding so gave the bike a quick once over and found a few of the bolts had fell out of that likkle silencer so i took it off and put the standard silencer back on.
Rode the bike to work on thursday and no vibration, so i thought....result :thumbsup

BUT on the way home i had 4 idiots pull out on me nearly wiping me out......SO

got home thursday evening and found some more bolts for the likkle silencer and put that back on.

Friday morning ride to work was fairly clear of traffic but way home was chocka, it was amazing filtering through the traffic watching all the drivers looking in their mirrors and turning their heads as i approached...

Good to be noisy !biggrin
