Cleaned the chain of all the "Silkolene chain lube" crap,apparently the best stuff for your chain on a "green laner" is WD40,so a good liberal coating has been applied,application at every ride(after tbh,when the chains still warm)

Basically it don't matter what you use on the chain IMO, it needs too be cleaned thoroughly after every outing off road, the theory behind thinner lube and oil like WD is that the shite don't stick too em as easily as thicker greasy stuff, on the WR AND THE YZF I just used cheap Castrol chain lube, at the end off the day chains and sprockets go threw hell off road and need changed often, lubeing and cleaning will help, but expect too change em often , the XR is a great bike , glad your enjoying it, now have a blast on a WRF Yam , now they are scary fast haha
