Well that was a waste of time :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

Woke up at 6.45am so i could have a cuppa, then only water from 7am and no food at all

Got to the hospital at 10.20am and found the ward and got signed in etc

Got changed into the compulsory gown and waited !!!!!

The nurse came round about 11.30am and took all the usual details and asked all the normal questions then said the anaethetist will be round shortly to go through the procedure.

2.30pm the anaethetist came round and spoke to the three other people in the room then buggered off.

5.00pm the surgeon came round and asked the nurse why i hadnt turned up FFS

She then pointed me out to him and he said well we cant do it today its too late !!!

So thursday night with no beer and a bit of dinner at 8pm then nothing right through till 5.30pm friday when they let me out.

On the plus side i did manage to make it to the local scout leaders meal at the local mexican !biggrin
So pigged out on tortillas and steak and lots of desperado's :beersmilie: :beersmilie:

Playing the waiting game now for another date :whistle

Well went in on the 25th february and actually had the keyhole surgery :geek:

Was only in for a couple of hours then let home again.

Was told at least two weeks before i can drive :x

At least i could walk, well hobble, on it when i came out :thumbsup

Two of the holes have healed nicely but the third is still a bit lumpy and my knee is still tender so will be another week i suppose.

At least this rain should be gone by then !crossed
