Albums that blow you away

Postby Paul » Sat Mar 09, 2013 5:21 pm

Im huge into my music, into double figures new before my cd collection goes over a thousand, and while there's the odd few regrets i really like them all, but there's a couple that just smash it so wide open...

Alter Bridge - III
so complete, every song has a strong identity yet flows to the next with ease. a masterful balance of feel and power

Deftones - self titled
album 4 of the best band on earth, and the best one imo

Karnivool - sound awake
if im out are at night in the car with an hour to go, this always gets played. one of those albums that is a real journey

pearl jam - ten
if you don't own this, you debt know music at all.
This is my bike. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life.
Without me my bike is useless. Without my bike, I am useless.

Been buying vinyl latey from the 70s and 80s adding to what vinyl i already had.
Come across a 70s album called iceberg by Deke Leonard (welsh).
Top album and now searching out other bands from the 70s.
Also looked at Led zeppelins 1st album and first pressing on vinyl but seller wanted £2500 for it so I,ll have a think about that one :o
NO EXUP NO DEAL.
